Message – 16.12.2020
Joh 10:1-3 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Dear soldiers, you have been posted as watchman for your Regions/Areas. Watchmen is posted at 3 places.
At the gate, (of your house, Your Troop Church)
Entrance of a city (To protect the city)
On the watch tower (of the nation)
- Watchman at the gate: First of all, you should keep your house under 3 layer guard so that the enemy cannot penetrate. If already enemy is there, (disunity, lack of intimacy between husband & wife, misunderstanding, dishonouring and disobeying parents, etc..) you should cast him out and put bars and bolts. Your wife/ husband, may be or may not be in saved. But you can love each other and always cooperate with them. You humility and obedience to the family laws will cast the enemy out.
May be you are not able to do as much as ministry as you wish because the family does not cooperate. But make a sacrifice by surrendering to the will of God. Any moment the Lord can touch them and change them.
Yesterday while I was reading Bible the Lord spoke to me, that in certain places, only ladies are there in the Troop. Gents in the house keep themselves away from the Troop.
Nah 3:13,14 Behold, your troops are women in your midst. The gates of your land are wide open to your enemies; fire has devoured your bars. Draw water for the siege; strengthen your forts; go into the clay; tread the mortar; take hold of the brick mould!
It should not be so. If a house to be safe, Father, Mother, children all are to be in the Lord, praying and growing in the Lord. If the house is to be protected, strengthened against the attacks of the enemy, we are asked to “go to the clay, (humble ourselves like mud on the earth) tread the mortar, take of the brick mould”, build up protective walls. Let’s watch ourselves and our houses!
- Watchman at the City gate. This is your watchman duty over your SMPs and SMLAs. Have an eye on them. Be watchmen for them. Talk to all of them daily or at least with 2 of them. This fellowship and bondage with AOJ will keep them protected from the attacks of the enemy.
- Watchman at the watchtower of the Nation: This is for the whole Nation. Isaiah was asked to post watchmen.
Isa 21:6-8 For thus the Lord said to me: “Go, set a watchman; let him announce what he sees. When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently.” Then he who saw cried out: “Upon a watchtower I stand, O Lord, continually by day, and at my post I am stationed whole nights.
Habakkuk was asked to do the same.
Hab 2:1 I will take my stand at my watchpost and station myself on the tower, and look out to see what he will say to me, and what I will answer concerning my complaint.
These 3 duties are to be done by every soldier in AOJ. Starting from no.1, we should grow systematically reach to level no. 3.
Let’s thank God for our dear Sol. ABM Reddy whom the Lord used mightily in AOJ and called to his permanent abode for his reward. Let’s continue all the works the Lord has started through him in Andhra and Telengana.
